These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions:
1.0 Delivery
1.1 Stock Permitting orders are usually despatched within 24 hours.
1.2 UK postal delivery is by Royal Mail and there are two options, Standard Delivery - £4.95. Delivery is usually within 3-5 working days.Next Day Delivery - £7.50. Deilvery is guaranteed by 1pm the following day (Monday to Friday) and a signature is required on receipt.
1.3 For all orders outside the UK then the postal charge will vary depending on delivery address and weight. The postal charge will be advised prior to despatch. Please ring Freephone 0800 970 7216 and ask for the Online Office.
1.4 We will make every effort to deliver within the stated time but we will not be liable for any loss caused to you by late delivery.
2.0 Returns
2.1 You may return any delivered products you have purchased within 10 working days of delivery for any reason.* To do so you MUST notify us by email or by post within 10 working days of delivery.
* Provided they are in their original condition with tags attached and in the original packaging where appropriate.
2.2 Please address all returns to the below address enclosing a completed returns form, which will be enclosed with your purchase.
2.3 For all returns, except where the item is faulty, you will be required to pay for the return of the products to us. We recommend the use of registered postal service for your protection. But remember, you can deliver them to us personally to the store itself.
3.0 Cancelling Your Order
3.1 You have the right to cancel your order within 10 days for a full refund.
3.2 You must inform Maureen Cookson Ltd, clearly stating your order number via email: info@maureencookson.co.uk or in writing to Maureen Cookson Ltd, 3 - 7a George Street, Whalley, Clitheroe, Lancashire, BB7 9TH
3.3 If orders have already been shipped, you will need to return the order to us.
4.0 Ordering from us
4.1 You are deemed to place an order with us by ordering via our online checkout process.
4.2 As part of our checkout process you will be given the opportunity to check your order and to correct any errors.
4.3 We will send you an order acknowledgement email detailing the products you have ordered. Please ensure the email address you provide is correct.
4.4 Our acceptance of an order takes place when we despatch the order.
4.5 When we despatch the order the purchase contract will be made and you will be charged, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled your order.
4.6 We may refuse to accept an order: where goods are not available; where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment; if there has been a pricing or product description error; or if you do not meet any eligibility criteria set out in our terms and conditions.
5.0 Availability
5.1 All products displayed on the website are subject to availability.
5.2 We aim to keep items in stock at all times but we may sometimes experience a break in the continuity of supply. This may be due to us experiencing higher than anticipated demand.
5.3 We will advise you immediatley if an item is not available and when new stocks are expected.
6.0 Intellectual Rights
6.1 The copyright and other intellectual property rights in all material on this website is owned by Maureen Cookson Ltd.
6.2 Any use of this website or its content other than for your own personal, non-commercial use is prohibited without our prior permission. You may not modify or adapt or distribute any part of this site.

7.1 While we endeavour to ensure that all of the product information is correct , we do not warrant the accuracy of the products on this website.
7.2 We have made every effort to display and provide accurate description including both the colour and the size of all our products. It is however important to note that the colours of the product images may vary depending on the types of monitors used.
7.3 We may make changes to the range of products and prices described in it, at any time without notice.
8.0 Website - Availability
8.1 We will do our best to ensure that the website availability is uninterrupted and error free, however, we reserve the right to suspend the site at any time to perform essential maintenance, change details and remove any inaccurate or unauthorized material.
8.2 We also reserve the right to terminate an individual's use of the site if any of the terms and conditions are breached.

9.1 We reserve the right to change at any time the details of the products on the website, including prices, colours and sizes.

10.1 Maureen Cookson Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss whether this arises from breach of duty, breach of contract, negligence or in any other way.
10.2 Maureen Cookson Ltd cannot accept liability for a failure to comply with specific instructions stated on the website.
10.3 Liability for any claim shall not exceed the price of goods supplied. This does not affect your statutory rights.

12.2 The card information provided to HSBC is never passed onto Maureen Cookson Ltd, nor is it ever held on our servers.
